When selecting messages from inbox to send to trash folder they need to be selected again in the trash folder to get them deleted adding an extra step to the process. This just started in version 21.

Developers are aware. It’s already fixed in the code with beta 22.0b2 released for testing.
It’ll make it’s way to app stores in due course.
Thanks for the reply, I’m sure they are aware that the “empty spam” option has similar issues? It used to be a one stop action and now it also needs extra steps.

Will this fix also correct the issue of not being able to empty the Trash folder?
It would be helpful if messages moved from the inbox to the trash could be deleted directly without having to select them again in the trash folder. Having to select them a second time adds an extra step. Was this change introduced in version 21?

v21.1 is available on Google Play and F-Droid. It fixes the bug in v21.0 where the menu action to empty trash / spam folders didn’t work.
