hello out there,
sometimes when i try to expand a mail (click to see the whole email) an empty window opens and the mail has disappeared. what can i do?

Please provide more information: what make and model of device, what version of Android, what version of K-9 Mail or Thunderbird for Android, POP3 or IMAP, happening only with one email or all? The more information provided, the more likely someone will be able to assist.

I don’t know whether this is the problem, but something occurs to me. Does the problem happen only with large emails? In Settings for each Account, under Fetching Mail, there is a size limit setting which controls how large emails can be to be fetched. There are various eligible settings. You might try adjusting that setting to see if that makes a difference. I don’t know whether that will solve the problem, but it’s worth a try.

sounds good, afair the issue was on large emails. i adjusted the limit
to 128k, see if it works.

Depending on how much memory you have on your device, you may want to set the limit higher. On my Chromebook (which can run Android applications) I have it set to 1MB. If setting the limit higher and that takes care of the problem, please come back here and mark the issue Solved so that other searchers can find it. Thx.
