Hi there,

I am using K9Mail on my Samsung S23 smartphone, Android 16.

When editing a (multi-line) signature of a mail account I am struggling to succeed.

I seen one line only which is “–” in my case. Scrolling is not possible. I tried to find a work-around and edited the signature in a mail draft, copied the whole paragraph and pasted it into the signature edit field.

Unfortunately the line breaks are gone now.

Do I miss something here or is this rather an issue?

Hi Tom

A fix is already applied in the code. It’s currently scheduled for inclusion in v23 if not before and will make it’s way to app stores in due course.

In the meantime, an alternative to composition defaults is to apply the signature on the manage identities page. Tap Initial identity and tick “use signature”. It doesn’t have the same restriction.
