Display Stuck in "Night View"

I am not adept at searching, so if this has been addressed before, please direct me accordingly.

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook / chromeOS Version 129.0.6668.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)
K-9 Mail 6.804
One POP3 account, one IMAP (YahooMail)

I normally keep the machine connected to WiFi with K-9 running in the background. This morning, when I opened the display and opened K-9, it was stuck in what I will call “night view”: white letters on a black background, just the opposite of what it normally is. I find this undesirable and want the usual display (black letters on a white background). I could not find a way to change the display back, and I don’t recall this ever happening before. Stopping K-9 and even rebooting the Chromebook did not restore the display. Is there a way manually to change the display back to “day view” (or whatever you call it)? I could not find any setting or control. TIA.

Try Settings / General Settings / Display / Theme. There you can switch between Light, Dark, and “Use System Default”

I will try that if it happens again. Thank you for the response.
