Device Spoofing?

Hi all,
I just started using K9-Mail for my Gmail account. Yesterday, when setting everything up, I signed in using OAuth2. I then received a confirmation email from Google saying that I had signed in from a mobile device - a ZTE Sonata 3. Thing is…my mobile is a Pixel 7.
My question is, does K9-Mail ‘spoof’ the device make and model or is there something happening on the Google side?

The browser is used for signing in via OAuth2. It might have put fake data into the user agent string.

Thank you for your reply. That’s totally fine with me, I actually appreciate the faking of the data as a privacy enhancement. Loving K9-Mail even more now!
