Default PDF App is Google Wallet

I’ve recently swapped over to K9 and have noticed a strange issue where the default behaviour when I open a PDF attachment is to open it in Google Wallet rather than Adobe reader or another app that can read it. I don’t get the pop up to select which app to open the file with either.

Is there somewhere specific I need to set this? I have Reader as the global default for PDFs and Wallet does not have a ‘defaults’ section in setting that I can clear.

Appreciate any help!

That’s really bizarre.

I’m on a Pixel on the June release. Between Android versions, this is going to vary widely.

Default Apps, and under that setting, perhaps Opening Links, and find Google Wallet and clean up the entry.

Take notes of the changes you make in case of error.

I have the same problem:
For attached PDFs it only shows Navigator (map application), Google Wallet and Memory-Map.
Can’t find a way to link it to Google Drive, which it used to use.

Dear notvicinity.
I am using K9-Mail ver6.904 Beta and when I tapped the attached PDF file, I could choose to view it in PDFViewer or Browser.
Now I have made PDFViewer the default, so I can open the attached PDF file immediately by tapping on it.
I thought that the behavior might be different for different smartphones, because many of the problems I have seen in the forums are working fine on my smartphone.
