Close and delete my K9 account

I just want to close and delete my K9 account, the one that I logged into in order to get here. I no longer use K9, so I don’t want to keep this account.

Is it okay to anonymize the account? This removes all personal information and replaces the user name with some random numbers. It keeps the posts to not break discussions. The alternative is to completely delete the account.
