Change password

Hello
Sorry but my English is too poor in order to explain my problem.
I continue in French.
J’utilise K9Mail depuis environ 5 a 6 ans.
Thanks a lot

Translated online as I cannot speak french at all:

K9mail latest version on Android I MUST change my passwords on two accounts. I have been using K9Mail for about 5-6 years. No topic on the web corresponds to my current version. Everything is diferent I spent 1 hour to find without result I log in to the account (I have 4) whose password I want to change Then General settings Then account name I find the name of the account concerning… wanadoo.fr But, there is no need to replace the password Nothing in reading or recovering or sending etc… k9 Mail is very good but question replace a password which is very simple to do anywhere in the world (on Orange and on Thunderbird it is visible right away) is not easy to find in k9. Quick answer please.

First you need to change the password on the portal provided by your mail provider. Most probably you already did this.

Assuming that you are on a recent version of K9 (latest is 6.000) you can change the password used by K9 at

Settings / Account / Fetching Mail / Incoming Server

Settings / Account / Sending Mail / Outgoing Server

OK Done
Changing passwords is more difficult on K9 than Thunderbird ( 15 years using on PC) or Orange for instance. Much easy on Amazon or Netflix too. Changing password appears immediately when you click or rignt click on your account name .
On K9 changing password is hidden several levels deeper.

35 years using PCs and 27 years Windows and 16 years Thunderbird but Android an K 9 5 years long.

Now i have understood.
Thanks
