Can't reply on idn domains

unsure what went wrong here but k9mail has repeatedly crashed and lost all my mails and finally i went to headers and it showed it has idn domain there. in both puny and normal form. character subset-category here is cyrillic

so trying to reply to that results in crash apparently

i also recall repeated crash earlier with trying to back forth between messages. also kind of reproducible and kind of not

in this case, it 100% crashes on send. nothing in inline quotes seem to be related to this

also whole thing is hard to debug as i have to go to server for raw message, k9mail doesn’t show raw body. actually k9mail doesn’t do many things it could and should

Consider raising a ticket for the fault over on Github with details to enable the developers to reproduce the crash.
