Can't attach pdf or zip files

I have been using K-9 Mail for several years on my tablets but lately (last few months) I have been unable to attach pdfs or zip files. They just won’t attach. If I send, the email gets sent, but without the attachment. I just tested with a jpeg and it came through fine. I am using K-9 6.804 with the most recent Android 14 OS as of last week on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

Any ideas, anybody?

EDIT: I can send a pdf if I rename its extension to .jpg.

K-9 6.804 on my Pixel 6a with the July release, I can’t reproduce. I can attach .pdf files and get them ok on the other side.

Yeah, it figures. Could be an issue with the Samsung OS, in which case this is probably not the right place to inquire. Thanks for trying to replicate the issue.
