Cannot import contacts from internal storage

On Samsung Galaxy A8 during importing, contact file cannot be read. I tried all available formats - vcf, csv and xlsx. After selecting a file, I am getting following message: “Failed to read settings file”

I am not sure what you are trying to do. In K9 you can only import settings you exported before from K9.

I am trying to import my contacs from my pc to my Samsung A8 tablet. Why it is not possible?

Where are those contacts stored? The easiest way would probably be to use Google Contacts, that way you’ll have them on all devices and don’t need to import anything.

K9 can only use your mobile phone contacts. So, if you can import your PC contacts on your phone then K9 can use them

You need to import them from the contacts app, not from K-9
