Cannot attach files

Hello,

I noticed that I cannot attach files to the emails.
I can choose a file, but it will not be added to the mail. only the cumbersome way via the parts function is possible. that’s bad when you want to reply to an email.

II have the same problem with Xiaomi Mi9 Android 11.
Permissions to access files for K9 does not exist. A new installation was unsuccessful.

Does somebody has any idea?

Can you confirm pls

  • you start composing an email
  • you click the button (top right of screen)
  • you can successfully select a file ??
  • what screen or message do you see next ?
