Button for Manual Account configuration doesn't work

I am using a Pixel6a with Android 14, build AP2A.240905.003.F1
K-9 version 6.804

When adding a new email account with the automatic configuration not working, a button shows up “Konfiguration nicht gefunden, Manuell konfigurieren” (translated: configuration not found, configure manually). That button can be clicked and shows a reaction animation. But the app doesn’t switch to any manual configuration setup screen. Is there a way to directly access manual configuration without searching for a configuration first?

After the “Configuration not found” message appears, does tapping the “Next” button in the lower right corner not switch to the manual configuration screen?

You cannot go to the manual configuration screen from the beginning, so please check if tapping the “Next” button again does not switch to the manual configuration screen.
