I’m suddenly getting outgoing server errors that say:
The Server is missing Capability AUTH PLAIN
Nothing has changed on the Server. This is with Android 10 and 14.
The same server (sendmail with saslauthd) is still working fine with Roundcube, Thunderbird etc. Just not K9.
Broken on an update? There hasn’t been one AFAIK. I’m thinking an mobile ISP might be blocking it with some kind of crazy stateful firewall. I can connect to the submission port using telnet, no problem.
Anyone else playing the same game?
