Since I updated to 6.200 (my phone has android 9) no notifications appear on the status bar when there is new mail. I have checked and rechecked all settings and even reinstalled. Any idea or others experiencing similar issues?

Which version did you use before? Does it work again if you switch back to that version? The github repository of K9 does provide all previous versions as APK
Thanks, it’s impossible to revert back to former versions cause they did not work anymore with gmail so the new versions are those to look at.
