Adding additional e-mail address to K-9 mail

I m trying to add an additional e-mail address to K-9 mail on my android. As I go through the process I get to the outgoing server settings and it says “failed”
Authentication error

The server returned the following message:
Authentication unsuccessful
SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the Tenant. Visit Enable or disable SMTP AUTH in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn for more information.

I’m a novice at this so I need some help please.

That message is informing you that your Microsoft 365 administrator has disabled a feature that is required for third-party email clients like K-9 Mail. You will need to refer that message to whomever manages your Microsoft 365 tenant. lf it was deliberately disabled to conform with company policy, it may not be something that they are willing to enable. It is not something that anyone here will be able to change.
