Hello, I’ve been using k9 faithfully since 2011. As of late I’ve had to change to another client as K9 will no longer work with Comcast’s outgoing server, despite all settings being correct (and all variations tried). I’d love to be using it again. Can this be fixed?
What is the concrete error? Your description is too general to be able to help. I do not know Comcast, but others may.
Oddly - after trying for many times over the past couple months, and again many times yesterday & having to move to another client, it JUST started working again. I did get a call into Comcast and explained what had happened, both with K-9 being unable to connect SMTP and with other email issues with outgoing they’ve been having lately. Some change on their end seems to have resolved it.
