Notifications gone / not working

As far as I can recall notifications were working fine up until a few days ago which I think matches time wise with an app update my phone did.

Anyone else have no notification sounds all of a sudden?
They seem to be configured correctly, quiet time disabled made no difference (even though not inside quiet time hours right now). Other phone notifications are working as expected (SMS etc).

Do you happen to be using Nova Launcher?

My K9 notifications are hit and miss since it updated to version 7 a few days ago…

No launcher used on my phone, just standard Samsung stuff.

This is working again in 5.902 beta.
