K-9 v 5.806 SMTP with problems

I’m having trouble sending email.
I normally installed K9. I did the configuration of both imap and smpt normally.
But when trying to send email, the emails leave the outbox but do not reach the recipient

K9 version 5.806
Android version 10
Galaxy Note 9

What is your smtp/outgoing mail service provider?

My provider is hostgator. But I set up email in another app and it works.

If they leave the outbox it seems that the SMTP server at least claims to have received the e-mail. If it doesn’t arrive I would suspect some antispam mechanism on the receiver’s side.

Hi, This is a fresh thread, originally started on another, it was suggested there to make a fresh one. First in all my years of using K9, I am not aware of this ever happening to me before. People on K9 5.8 might need to check all their email is actually, not only sending properly, but actually getting to destination.
