How to restore check box beside each email

How do I enable a check box to the left of the title of each email so I can go down the list in my inbox for all those I want to delete?

I figured out how to do it in the old version, but I am wasting a ton of time trying to figure out which setting in the new version accomplishes that.

If the feature is missing, I am going to have uninstall the program.

If you enable contact pictures, you can quickly select emails by tapping the contact pictures.

Thanks for the quick answer… not exactly intuitive but it works. Whewww.

There’s an easier way than to add pictures. Just press an e-mail long enough that it changes color. Once one is selected you can just tap quickly on all the others you want to select. Missed the checkbox too but found that out by accident.

Thanks for the extra tip… but now that I have enabled the pictures (letters), I just tap each one to select.
