Emails from gmail to gmail not downloading

My wife and I both have K-9 on Android 11 set up with SMTP to our gmail accounts. Recently emails from gmail addresses to each of our gmail accounts have not been downloading to either of our K-9 apps even though they show up on our gmail accounts.

I don’t know if this is a google problem or a K-9 problem.

I tried posting on Github as an issue, but it was closed telling me to post in support.

This is of no help, but this weekend I ran into an issue using Thunderbird against gmail of the exact same type of issue. I have gmail messages that Thunderbird can’t see. Until I saw your post, I didn’t give my problem much thought, but guess it’s G’s side given our case.
