Connecting K9 to Gmail via IMAP

For the past several years, I have had K9 configured to connect to Gmail via IMAP and it has always worked well.

I recently changed my gmail password. But when I attempted to update the PW in K9, it refused to accept it.

Now K9 is not receiving messages.

I have my own domain name and have lots of email forwarders that all point to my Gmail address. I use K9’s “manage identities” feature to send via these other addresses.

NM. I found the solution. When I changed my PW, Google deleted the “app specific password” I had created (which I forgot that I had set up). Once I re- related it and entered that into K9, it worked.
